Here's the float for their ward. The two oldest ladies in the town are sitting in the rumble seat!
Cool horses!
They threw tons of candy! We got about three of these bags full.
Cool car!
A Herbie car!

Now Jared has decided he wants an old car. Brittany spent the week selling fireworks at Rod and Gwyn's stand. After the parade we went to the park, where they had booths and jumping houses. The fire department sprayed with their hose for awhile. The had to leave because they had a call. They had three calls during the morning that day! People wrecking cars.
Kiersten went down a big bouncy house slide and that was fun, but she got knocked down by the next kid to come down. We went over to the quilt show and I entered the raffle (didn't win). We looked at jewelry and hair bows and bags at the booths. Then we ate (pulled pork sandwiches and navajo tacos). It was hot, so we went home after that.
Laid around in the afternoon and went over for the cookhouse dinner later that day. We had steak and dutch oven potatoes.
Then we played dice in the evening and lit some fireworks. Watched the Lewiston fireworks after dark.
What a great day!
