Brittany taught me what a VLOG is.

Only watch this if you are really bored, or if you need to be really bored, because it's kinda silly and... boring. I'm sure we will get better at it if we practice.

Snow!!

We finally got some more snow that stuck! Unfortunately Mark is still working in Houston every week, so I got to plow. Took an hour and a half, but I had to leave twice to take kids to school! Jared tried to go to school in the pickup (no 4-wheel drive) and he got stuck backing out of the garage. He spun out for awhile and then managed to get it back in the garage and took the Excursion instead.

Chemistry

We are doing a chemistry unit in homeschool. We had to build molecules and make sure they were balanced in our reaction. Marshmallows sure come in handy!

Birthday Party at Jump On It!

We took 12 kids to Jump On It! which is a trampoline place in Lindon. Brittany helped by driving one of the cars, and Jared came for fun. They jumped for awhile and then we had pizza and cupcakes. It was a great party, and hardly any work for me!

The kids got really tired jumping around! They all kept asking when the pizza would be there. Next time, I'll have to have them do the pizza a little earlier!

Kiersten's New Guitar

Kiersten's Birthday Fashion Show

Kiersten got a gift card to Old Navy from her Grandpa Ken and Anne. We went shopping, and she picked out a bunch of things she liked. She then informed me that she was going to try them on and I should wait outside the door so she could show me the outfits. The pink glasses were out; she got blue ones instead. It was fun for her to pick out her own things!

Mad Scientist!

Tanner is just a nut. We did a science experiment involving muriatic acid and yeast and peroxide. We were supposed to be trapping the gas produced in the jar and then holding the flame next to it to see if the gas was flammable. One of them worked; the other didn't.

Santa Barbara Weekend!

Mark and I went to Santa Barbara for the weekend. Mark interviewed for a job, and we got to relax in the sun. While he was interviewing, I laid by the pool and read for 3 hours! It was great.

Strep

What a lousy weekend! The kids have been sick all week, and Brittany was bad enough to take her to the doctor. Turns out she had strep! So she got some antibiotics to help her get over it, and then she was allergic to the medication and had a rash. Saturday morning I woke up with a really sore throat, so Mark took us to the doctor and we got new antibiotics for Brittany and some for me, too. I laid in bed for two full days, while Mark did laundry and took care of everything (what a nice man he is). Then he had to leave for Houston, so I had to be done being sick.

Monday I felt somewhat better, probably because of the three Motrin I was taking every 4 hours. My good friend brought dinner to us. It was so nice not to have to think of what to make!

Today a little better, too, but not as good as I think I should be. We'll see how it goes. Brittany is a little better, too. Jared stayed home today, but we took him to the doctor last week and they said he doesn't have strep.

Who's been using my phone camera?

So when I downloaded the flower photo to my computer, I noticed someone had been using my camera. What are these pictures? Who took them?

It was Tanner. Apparently this is a photo of the largest Honeycomb he had ever seen! And he really wanted to save it, but he really wanted to eat it. So he took a picture of it first.

Groundhog Day! (And my birthday)

My sweet husband sent me these roses for my birthday! The picture really doesn't do them justice. They are the prettiest I have seen!

My kids were all sick, so instead of going to Olive Garden like we planned, Brittany went and picked up Olive Garden food. So it was yummy anyway!

And I was so lucky, I had lots of great friends who were thinking of me and called or wrote a note on Facebook or brought me goodies. Thanks so much!
