Weekend News

I took the three youngest kids to Logan to see Grandma and Grandpa on Friday night.  Grandpa, Jared and I went skiing up at Beaver Mountain on Saturday.  It was a gorgeous day and we had a great time.  Grandpa bought some gloves and the tag said that the fabric on the thumbs was especially soft, just for nose-wiping!  You'll have to ask him if he used that feature!  Grandpa hasn't been skiing for about 25 years, but he looked like he's been doing it forever and gave me some tips on my form.  I may get the hang of this yet.  He took pictures of me but I don't have them yet.  Here's the ones I took.

Jared and Grandpa.  Jared's board was too heavy and his feet were not at the right angle, so we had them give him a new board and fix the angle, and he did much better after that.

This doesn't do it justice, but Grandpa did a great job skiing!

Jared really liked the blue run we did; the green ones were just too flat!

Kiersten and Tanner hung out with Grandma.  Grandma took Kiersten to a primary activity and Kiersten just ran off and did the activity with the other kids.  Tanner stayed home with the gameboy.  After we got home from skiing, Kiersten played with the magnetics.

We had a great roast, mashed potatoes and corn for dinner.  Then we came back home.  It was a fun trip!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
