Shore Fishing

We went to a little lake and did some fishing. We caught a lot of really little fish and threw them all back.

Kiersten screamed every time a worm got near her (or a fish).
Tanner caught 16 fish! He was pretty excited.
Grandma still has the touch.
I casted for Kiersten and got to fish some, too.
Jared caught a couple. His were the biggest, I think.
Grandpa only had time to bait Tanner's hook and take off his fish.

Preparedness!

We went up to Lewiston (Utah) to see my parents this last week. The first day we made strawberry freezer jam!

We also went out to Gossner's Dairy and tried out their shelf-safe milk. It is supposed to keep for two years, even though the date on the package is one year. We had some creamed peas later in the week and used the whipping cream for that and it was really good. I think the smaller boxes were $.35 each and the larger one $.89.

Elder's Quorum Party

We had an Elder's Quorum Party at the park in town. They did hamburgers and hot dogs and homemade root beer and salads. Mark played volleyball with the guys and we all had a great time!
