We went up to the cabin in Manila with some of the Ray Olson family, Ray, Steve and Holly, and their kids Jake, Megan and Jenna. The first evening we just got there and set up our room, turned on the water, etc. The next day we took the boats out; they have an old cabin cruiser up there and Ray drove that while Mark drove our boat. Brittany, Jared and Tanner wanted to stay back at the cabin, so the rest of us went without them. We left Scooter there, too.
Mark skiied first and then Steve wakeboarded. I skiied and then kneeboarded. Kiersten and the little cousins got to play in the water and float around on the kneeboard and the tube. It was a beautiful day! We got back to the cabin later and showered and made dinner. Some went four-wheeling, and some walked the dogs.
The next day we went out again, and this time we all went. Tanner didn't want to, so we let him bring his DSi and he stayed under the seat almost the whole time! He did get out on the tube and paddled around with the oars for awhile. The water was not as good that day, so we didn't ski, but we had lots of fun just being out there. We boated up to the dam and the bridge and took some photos of those, too. We spent some time cleaning up the boats and had dinner and relaxed.
These girls had so much fun letting their hair fly around. Needless to say, we spent a long and painful time getting it all brushed out later!
The next morning, we just got up and packed and cleaned and left. It was such a nice vacation, and so great to finally get the boat out!! Unfortunately, we unwrapped it just for this trip, and we will be winterizing it again in the next few weeks. Maybe next year we will make it to Lake Powell!
