They let us take photos by the font before the baptism service. Kiersten was soooo excited to be baptized!
And then just before the service started, she began to get a little nervous. Mark baptized and confirmed her, with Joseph Moffatt, Jeff Griener, Doug Hammer (Grandpa) and Andy (uncle) in the circle.
This is the kids who were baptized from our ward that day (after the baptism). Kiersten, Eleanore, and Josh.
Grandma Linda and Andy came to the baptism, but they had to leave before the brunch.
Grandma and Grandpa Hammer came the night before and we went to dinner at Market Street Grill. They came to the baptism the next day and stayed for brunch, then headed home. They were tired from working at the temple in the early morning the day before.
It was a really nice day for Kiersten. When I wrapped her towel around her, she said, "I can't believe I just got baptized!" She was pretty excited about receiving the Holy Ghost, too.
