Strep

What a lousy weekend! The kids have been sick all week, and Brittany was bad enough to take her to the doctor. Turns out she had strep! So she got some antibiotics to help her get over it, and then she was allergic to the medication and had a rash. Saturday morning I woke up with a really sore throat, so Mark took us to the doctor and we got new antibiotics for Brittany and some for me, too. I laid in bed for two full days, while Mark did laundry and took care of everything (what a nice man he is). Then he had to leave for Houston, so I had to be done being sick.

Monday I felt somewhat better, probably because of the three Motrin I was taking every 4 hours. My good friend brought dinner to us. It was so nice not to have to think of what to make!

Today a little better, too, but not as good as I think I should be. We'll see how it goes. Brittany is a little better, too. Jared stayed home today, but we took him to the doctor last week and they said he doesn't have strep.
