Kiersten really wanted a "Hoo-wa-ii" party this year. We got some grass skirts and leis for everyone and decorated with shells, a palm tree and a real coconut. We even had a Hawaii girl pinata.

Jared was particularly lovely in this stylish grass skirt. He was a big help with the whole party. He even got some Hawaiian music to play from iTunes on his electric guitar amp.
We decorated some goodie bags, then played some games. We did a beach clothes dress up relay (kind of hard with the little kids, but funny to watch!!). We played a fishing game with Kiersten's magnetic fish puzzle (prizes on every fish, like plastic slinkys and sea shells). We did the limbo and broke the pinata (do not use blow pops and break pinata over a tile floor; did you know blow pops explode when they land?). All in all, a great party!!
