I made some dill pickles from my cucumbers, and the four red jars are the first canned tomatoes! The bags are corn (I did 12 - that's about 52 ears of corn)!
I got some peaches from Burgess Orchard, which is just down the road here in Alpine. They were yummy!
So, how did you do your tomatoes? Did you get info from your neighbor? Charles has been sun-drying his Romas.
What kind of peaches did you can? Are they still selling them and how much are they?
We did a Logan run last Saturday. We came home with a bushel of Hale peaches - I canned half and made jam of half. Also, six pints of blackberries - which I made a cobbler and freezer jam. The kids and I picked chokecherries - I've juiced them and now I need to make syrup. And Charles and I picked two quarts of currants from our bushes - I've also juice those and will make some jelly. This morning we picked our pears. Thank goodness they take a while to ripen, 'cause I'm sick of canning!

I think bottled peaches are one of the prettiest sights to see! Summer in a bottle--enjoy it when you are freezing up in Utah in the winter, haha!
Yay! Looks wonderful! Keep it going. Harvest time is fun. Wish we were closer and could do it together!
