The Garden!

Our garden is really starting to produce. We've had the squash going for awhile, but this is the first corn and we are just getting beans, too. We have some tomatoes that I will need to start canning soon!

Great-Grandma Ruth's 91st Birthday Party!

My paternal grandma, Ruth Hammer, had her 91st birthday party! She has moved in next door to my mom and dad and they are taking care of her. We had a nice party at the park in Lewiston. It was a rainy afternoon, but we were under the pavilion, so it was nice for us. The kids had fun playing in the rain.

Kiersten spent most of her time being mad and playing on this tree.

We picked up Brittany and Sarah (her cousin on Mark's side) from USU and took them to the party with us. They mostly played games.

First Days of School!

This year we have Brittany in college, Jared is a junior in high school, Tanner is starting junior high, and Kiersten is in second grade. It was a little crazy with them all starting at different times.

Somehow we managed to get Brittany moved up to USU, but didn't take any pictures. I think the kids might have some on their phones. Anyway, here's the car before we left! She took almost everything she owns!

And Tanner got to start a day earlier than the others because seventh graders go on their own for one day to get adjusted.

Jared and Kiersten started on the same day, Jared earlier.

And look at her short hair! We straightened it for today.
