Bowling at Jack & Jill's

Had a fun time bowling with the kids! Kiersten thought it was much too loud!  It's hard to roll the ball with a finger in one ear and your shoulder up around the other one!

Jared's turn...

Tanner had his own style and didn't want any tips from Mom!

Brittany always laughs after she goes.

Mom had a really sore forearm the next day!

I forgot the camera at the bowling alley and had to go pick it up today to get these downloaded! Soooo glad they still had it!

Cooking with Mindy

Mark's sister, Mindy, is interested in learning to cook some more things.  She has also been ill and needed to get some meals into the freezer so she would have something good to eat when she wasn't up to cooking.  Last month I went over and we did some hamburger meals (stroganoff, spaghetti, lasagna and chili).  This last week, we did some chicken things (chicken in a crockpot, chicken rollups, chicken-rice casserole, chicken soup fixin's, and chicken enchiladas).  Here's Mindy, doing the cooking!

Chop, chop!

Here are the chicken rollups!

Mindy is very creative and into stitchery right now.  She designed this realistic human heart with a bandaid on it to give to a friend who had a stroke because of a heart defect!

Grandma & Grandpa's House

Grandma and Grandpa had lots of fun things for us to see while we were there.  Here are the three-day-old kittens.  The momma has been a regular at their house for a little while, and she chose their boat as the place to have her kittens!  There are four.  The neighbors have claimed them all now, so G & G moved them over to their garage.

And other babies!  It must be spring on the farm...  Here is Kiersten with the not-so-little baby chickens.  They are about a month old now.  G & G got some new baby chicks the day we came home, but I didn't get a photo.  They were so soft and fluffy and tiny!  They really liked us to hold them, 'cause they were cold!  Kiersten loves to spend time outside with her Grandpa.
