Kiersten's First Piano Recital

Kiersten played in her first piano recital April 1, 2011. Her song was Ode to Joy, by Beethoven. She did a fabulous job! Mark was in Santa Barbara and wasn't able to make it, so we recorded it for him. I told all the kids they had to come to it, since Kiersten has been to events for all of them. Jared brought his friend, Payden. Tanner and they left right after Kiersten played, but we were really glad they came. Brittany had a deadline and couldn't get off work in time to come. After the recital, I took Kiersten to the store to get her some flowers. It was a great evening! Here's a link to another video where you can actually see her hands playing.

Daddy/Daughter Achievement Days

Mark is in Santa Barbara and couldn't make it home for this Achievement Days activity, so Jared played the Dad for it! They had a great time at the Roundup. I think Jared might have had more fun than Kiersten. He said she made him leave when they were doing the Boot-Scoot Boogie.

Random Kid Pictures

 Kiersten and Tanner came with us when we went up to Lewiston to see a farm. They (Kiersten) really wanted to go to the park, even though it was cold. Tanner had been playing his video game all day, so I made him go, too. Doesn't he look thrilled?

The kids at Kiersten's school made these tiles to go all over their school walls. We took a picture so we could have a memory of it when we move.
